As Head of Forecasting, you are responsible for the quality, logic, and continuous development of all sales and demand forecasts across IronMaxx. You build the analytical foundation for operational, commercial, and financial decisions across all channels and markets.

Demand Planning is part of your responsibility – derived directly from the forecast and designed to remain lean, scalable, and transparent. Your focus is on forecast accuracy, data quality, and actionable planning logic that enables reliable business decisions and operational execution.

Forecast Ownership & Analytical Excellence

  • End-to-end responsibility for sales and demand forecasting across all channels and international markets
  • Define, continuously improve, and standardize forecasting logic, methodologies, and planning assumptions
  • Own and manage the forecasting cycle including reviews, adjustments, alignment rounds, and decision-making processes
  • Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, and deviations and derive clear corrective actions and improvement initiatives
  • Develop scalable forecasting standards and ensure transparency and consistency across all planning activities

Demand Planning – derived & scalable

  • Responsibility for Demand Planning as a direct operational derivation of the forecast
  • Ensure lean, standardized, and transparent planning processes with clear assumptions and decision logic
  • Ensure demand figures are plausible, explainable, and actionable for Supply Chain and Operations
  • Close collaboration with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Production to translate forecasts into executable operational plans

Data, Systems & Performance Management

  • Ownership of forecasting models, KPIs, and planning systems (e.g. SAP Business One, Streamline)
  • Drive continuous improvements in data quality, automation, and reporting transparency
  • Develop scenarios, simulations, and what-if analyses to support management and financial decision-making
  • Close alignment with Finance regarding forecasting, budgeting, and business planning processes

Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Lead and develop the Planning & Ordering team with a strong analytical and performance-driven mindset
  • Act as the central forecasting sparring partner for Sales, eCommerce, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Management
  • Ensure structured and data-driven alignment processes across all business functions
  • Responsibility for forecasting KPIs, reporting standards, and performance monitoring

Dein Skillset - stark wie unser Protein

  • Several years of experience in Forecasting, Demand Planning, or Sales Forecasting within FMCG environments (ideally Food & Nutrition or eCommerce)
  • Strong analytical mindset with a high level of ownership and decision-making capability
  • Proven experience in forecasting methodologies, planning logic, and forecast performance optimization
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain and operational planning processes
  • Confident use of ERP and forecasting systems such as SAP Business One, Streamline, and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in leading analytical or planning teams
  • Structured, data-driven, and solution-oriented working style
  • Very good English skills; German is a plus
