Product Manager - Food (w/m/d)

At IronMaxx, you will help shape the next generation of Bars & Snacks. You will turn consumer trends, market opportunities and creative ideas into products that stand out on the shelf and perform in everyday life.

From the first concept to the final product, you will take real ownership and work closely with suppliers, quality, purchasing, marketing and sales. Your goal: create bars and snacks that combine functionality, convenience and outstanding taste.

• Develop innovative protein bars, functional snacks, bites, cookies, wafers and related concepts
• Manage projects from the initial idea and sampling through calculation to market launch
• Optimize existing products regarding taste, texture, nutrition, ingredients, packaging and cost
• Coordinate tastings, product trials and optimization rounds

• Identify relevant consumer, flavor, ingredient and packaging trends
• Conduct market and competitor analyses
• Translate insights into new product concepts and portfolio opportunities
• Support the continuous development of the Bars & Snacks category

• Identify and manage manufacturers, suppliers and development partners
• Coordinate timelines, responsibilities and information across internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct price inquiries and product calculations
• Participate in supplier meetings, production trials and industry events

• Review recipes, ingredients, nutritional values, claims and packaging texts
• Ensure compliance with LMIV and European food law
• Maintain product specifications, master data and relevant documentation
• Support quality management and continuous product improvement

• Degree or vocational qualification in food technology, food science, ecotrophology, nutritional science or a comparable field
• 1 - 3 years of experience in product development, product management or category management within the food industry
• Experience with bars, snacks, functional foods or sports nutrition is highly desirable
• Very good knowledge of the LMIV and European food law
• Strong understanding of ingredients, sensory properties, production processes and product calculations
• Passion for taste, textures, consumer trends and innovative product concepts
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style
• Strong ownership, organizational skills and commercial awareness
• Fluent English and business German
